Work & Transitional Shelters for Men

Open for 24 hours for men working at least 20 hours weekly. Screenings are Monday - Friday from 9am-5pm. Applicants given intake appointment for a Wednesday. Program requires identification, proof of employment (3 pay stubs, letter from employer stating how long applicant has worked there, hours worked, and supervisor’s name), proof of savings account, TB test in last 12 months, police clearance (last 30 days). Residents required to save 50% of income in escrow account. Drug-free shelter takes urine samples.

Open to men working at least 30 hours weekly at employment where taxes are being withheld. Men share a semi-private two bunk room with 24 hour access. Must have proof of bank account and save 30% of earnings.
 
Housing Assistance Center Work Program

Must have proof of bank account and save 30% of earnings. Interested individuals should ask for a case manager at the 801 HAC Shelter to apply for a Work Program bed.
 
La Casa Transitional Rehabilitation Program

La Casa TRP offers a six month residential transitional program that covers all basic needs and provides employment assistance, housing counseling services, life skills and substance use counseling. Program requires identification, verification of homelessness, ability to work, TB test (in last 12 months), police clearance (last 30 days), clean urine sample, psychological assessment if referred by an outside provider, 30 days of prescribed medications, and no ongoing appointments outside of the program. Interviews are Monday - Thursday from 8am-2pm. Interested individuals can call between 8am-4pm to setup an appointment for an intake interview.
